Liberty House Jersey City Wedding and What a backdrop for a wedding! The New York City skyline! A bit of a nip in the air but it is the end of November, LOL. And don’t worry Steve and Jaime had hand warmers in a basket for their guests. Pretty thoughtful! A clear bright day to have a bit of sun to keep you warm and have a clear view of NYC. The wedding was a bit of Vintage Gothic, pretty cool. Lots of little details including an elaborate aisle runner which made a nice photo from above. All of this took place at The Liberty House, in Jersey City, New Jersey. The staff here is awesome to work with and treat the Bride and Groom as King and Queens. And have to mention the food is pretty great. Jaime had gotten dressed at a hotel with her girls and bridesman! Yes, she had man on her side with the girls, a long time friend. Another cool aspect to this wedding. After all the hair and makeup and dress (and suits) were on we headed over to the Liberty House for some scenic portraits. Soon after Steve arrived and we caught some time with him and his guys for portraits while Jaime was preparing to walk down the aisle. After a beautiful ceremony out in the garden with the NYC skyline towering in the background we walk around the park and area for some family and bridal portraits. We even hit the old ferry and train terminal and the walkway near the 911 memorial(although we didn’t use the huge memorial structures for photos, by request for the bride and groom as respect for the deceased in which the memorial was there for). One last portrait near the outdoor fire pit with the Liberty House in the background and then out of the cold to the reception we went. From this point on it was bit bit of crazy awesomeness! Again with a great nighttime view of NYC in the background they danced, smoked custom handled cigars from the cigar and whiskey bar and did lots of shots.
