So this young couple had a small intimate Icona Avalon NJ Wedding. They were surrounded by their close friends and immediate family. Oh and a few bikini beach bathers…. After exchanging their vows rings and of course kisses we did a few family photos on the beach.  Then everyone headed down to Icona resort in Avalon.  Avalon Beach and  town happen to be one of my favorite beaches in New Jersey, not that this matters or you care about that but hey this is my blog.  And hey Avalon, is “Cooler by a Mile”.  So after we all went to a small gathering at a Icona for dinner and drinks, the couple and I headed back to the beach for some sunset portraits. Although it became a little cloudy and gray it was great light.  They were amazing to work with as they were up for anything.  When I asked them if they want to get wet, they looked at me with a little surprise, but were game!  I loved the way Skyler naturally came off in a  simple elegant classy look for her portraits too.  I kind of just let her be and photographed her with very little instruction, then the two of them finally relaxed with one another in front of me and we got away with some great results. Eventually they eased themselves into getting wet, as at first it was a bit chilly for them in their clothes,  but then they had a good time falling into each others arms kind of forgetting I was there and letting go in the moment. So here are just a handful of the two of them.  Of course we capture the entire day on the beach ceremony and over at the dinner reception at Icona but here are just a handful of the two of them on the beach that stood out to me.
