The Venetian, Garfield NJ Wedding.  Through the many years of photographing weddings I have seen many beautiful churches and this is by far one of the most awesome.  Maybe because it is the largest in NJ.  But lets back track a minute.  Stevie and Eric had a most excellent day for their wedding.  The morning was spent at the hotel prepping for the big day.  The girls primping and sipping on their mimosas and the guys hanging with some good brews.  The girls found some of those Coke bottles with some cute meaningful wording for the special day so of course we did some fun photos with those.  We even had some fun letting the girls let loose and start jumping on the beds to let out some excitement.  The guys were just leaning back, relaxing. ( “Lean Back, Lean Back”).  After hair and makeup and jackets and ties we were ready to head over to Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, NJ.  http://www.cathedralbasilica.org You can’t go wrong with this location.  Almost every corner there is a photo op!   We did some classic Godfather-esque portraits of the guys to start before Stevie arrived.  Stevie prepared for the long walk dow the isle to a flawless ceremony.  After the formalities we spent the afternoon capturing all the family portraits.  Then we were off to the reception location, The Venetian, Garfield NJ.  Talk about grand locations, this place has it all.  Huge staircases, fountains, gardens and grand ballrooms!  A few more portrait s of the bridal party and bride and groom on the grounds of the Venetian and we were ready to party!  The guests filled the dance floor all night long and we had a most excellent evening.  Here are some highlights of the day for you to check out.  Congrats Stevie and Eric!  http://www.venetiannj.com
