Ocean Grove Wedding, everything’s all right

Down the shore everything’s all right…. Especially for an Ocean Grove wedding! Mid May and a sunny day at the Jersey shore makes a perfect day for Amy and Andy. The beautiful victorian homes that line Ocean Grove make a perfect backdrop for their special day. With some of their close family and friends gathered in a quaint cottage by the sea, The Ocean Plaza in the heart of Ocean Grove, they prepared for the big day ahead. When we arrived some of the guys were chilling on the front wrap around porch while the ladies were being pampered up in the suite. After some finishing touches on the hair and makeup they were ready for the big show. A perfect wrap a around front porch provided a nice little set for Amy and Andy to have their first look or reveal. This is where the bride and groom see each other for the first time. Instead of talking down the aisle in the church, this way they can be more relaxed and do photos beforehand and enjoy the day casually with family and friends. So after a nice moment just the two of them on the porch we gathered up their crew and made our way down to the beach. The first stop was the Ocean Grove pier. An Ocean Grove wedding is not complete without stopping at the pier and seeing Ralph, where everything’s all right.. After some fun on the boardwalk and pier our next stop was Spring Lake. With all their parents, siblings and children we had all the family for a complete family portrait. NEXT stop! Next stop, Manasquan! Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Manasquan was the setting for the wedding ceremony. A pretty little quaint church which made for an excellent setting for the Amy and Andy and for us giving us a perfect backdrop to work with. As all of their guests arrived Amy and Andy prepared their I do’s. And after a wonderful ceremony it was time to celebrate. So NEXT Stop, The Columns, Avon by the Sea. with the whole place reserved for their family and friends it was going to be great evening. A few quick photos with Avon Beach as our backdrop it was now celebrating mode. With guests enjoying drinks and food on the wrap around porch of the Columns, and the band playing inside it was a perfect setup. Although not for the many Avon Beach local peeps who showed up through the night trying to come to the Columns for an evening out only to find the doors closed to the public, sorry peeps.
