I recently learned about Bacchus Winemaking, https://bacchusnj.com, through the Greater Toms River Chamber of Commerce.

After hearing a bit about them, I stopped by Bacchus myself and met with one of the partners, Shaun Hatton. And Later met Joe whom I chatted a bit about our love of Italy with.

First off this place is pretty cool and it’s pretty large! Right away the floor to very, very, high ceilings in the warehouse stacked with barrels was very impressive.  I Didn’t expect this in Toms River for some reason, LOL. Sean explained to me that some of them are aging wines for almost up to two years now!

And I was surprised that they have been doing this for over 20 plus years now! So you know they must know what they are doing!

Now I am relatively new to the Toms River area, just five years here now, and I knew of the place but didn’t really know the place if you know what I mean.

I found out that this is a great spot for any type of event whether personal or business.  For example, me being in the wedding industry, this is a great spot for me to share with my couples on what they can possibly do at Bacchus.  For example couples can have their engagement party here and everyone can make the wine which can later be served at their wedding!  I think wine label bottles have been around for some time now as wedding favors and such, but actually serving the wine or gifting the wine that you created yourself  is a step above.  There’s even the option to have your wedding right there at Bacchus’ huge space while  being surrounded by all the wine barrels.

And what about your business or corporate events for team building or just a fun night out for bonding with your employees and coworkers.

I am working on setting a date to bring myself and some of my team to create a wine so that we may gift all of our clients with their finished portraits. Oh just spilled the beans on that one..lol

Now that I visited it and learned more about it, I can’t wait to go back and make our wine and share this kinda hidden gem with everyone!
