LBI Children Fun Beach Portrait

Long Beach Island, LBI Family

by | Feb 12, 2020 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

As I write this blog post it is February and at least 50 degrees and the sun is shining bright in Long Beach Island, New Jersey!  So it is perfect for a beach blog post!  Have you started to plan your family summer vacation? Are you renting a house at the Jersey Shore like so many people do every year!?  Or are you a snow bird coming back to NJ this summer? Will you be having all the kids and grand kids down this summer?  What do you all do while at the summer house? Obviously relax and enjoy the beach, but what else? Do you do boating, fishing, crabbing?  Whatever it is, why not capture these precious memories forever! Yes we can do your photos on a boat, or on a dock it doesn’t have to be just the beach!  Of course the beach is always perfect and timeless though!

We can photograph the extended family, just the kids, just the grandparents and kids, all the siblings, cousins, each child by themselves perhaps too! We will do as much as we can for you in the time we have. We can create more formal or traditional family beach portraits or we can do more of a photojournalist look.   The kids and run and play in the ocean, kicking the water up and splashing around. This is a fun way to end the session so they are not wet throughout the portraits!  We can work with you on all of your ideas and options.  We can even do portraits at the beach house.   Perhaps on the grand wrap around porch or in the yard. Or some at the house then walk up to the beach. Whatever your plans our we would love to make it happen!

We are now taking reservations for this summer! 2020 family portraits are now booking! If you are scheduling your summer vacation at the Jersey Shore it is time to schedule your portrait too!  We can only typically do one family per day, so space is limited!! Most sessions are done around sunset for the best lighting. So we can only fit one family each evening really. And of course you should plan for rain dates! We can work with you on all of this but you need to reserve early!  What beach do you enjoy?  We can come to wherever you are! Just walk up to the beach or bay and we will meet you there. No shoes required but a reservation is!  From Seaside Heights, Island Beach State Park to Cape May and everywhere in between!  Lavallette, LBI, Ocean City, Avalon, Sea Isle City, Stone Harbor, Wildwood, we are there!

After your portrait you can perhaps enjoy a night out to dinner since you might be a little dressed up too! What are some of your favorite place to dine at during the summer? Or do oy go back and BBQ? Who cooks? Grandpa or the adult kids?  Any traditions you do every year? Let us know what you have planned would love to talk about it all! Enjoy the rest of the winter and see you on the beach!
